Jakarta (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter Scale was felt in several areas in Lampung and Banten on Friday at 16:52 pm.

According to the Meteorological Agency, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG), the epicenter was in some place that is 42 kilometers northwest of Ujung Kulon (Banten), 128 km Southwest Kalianda (Lampung), 137 kilometers southwest Merak (Banten), 151 kilometers southwest Tanjung Karang (Lampung) and 186 kilometers Southwest Metro (Lampung).

The quake centered in Ujung Kulon was in Jakarta on III-IV Mercally Modified Intensity (MMI), Ujung Kulon, IV-V MMI, Sukabumi III-IV MMI, Banten III-IV MMI, Cisarua III-IV MMI and Depok II-III MMI .
